To kick off the Nurburgring 24 Hours this year, Michael Schumacher climbed back into the cockpit of a Formula 1 race car, this time the 2011 Formula 1 Silver Arrow from Mercedes-Benz.
Making it more enjoyable for the fans that were attending, Mercedes and AMG decided to put on a show by having Schumacher “race” an A45 AMG, E63 AMG 4Matic, SLS AMG Black Series, and a SLS AMG GT3. Schumacher gave each vehicle a handicapped naturally, leaving three minutes after the SLS AMG GT3 car took off.
Two videos of Schumacher lapping Nurburgring have surfaced, which you can watch below. One thing is clear in the videos – Schumacher didn’t push the Formula 1 car to its limits, though he still turned in an impressive lap time, based on how long the video runs for.
